"Loved the quirkiness of the property. Everything was pink. Our room was decorated as a Freda room. We came to Richmond to see the Freda exhibit. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. My only complaint was the bathroom: the stopper in the sink would not let the water drain & you had to jiggle the toilet to get the water to stop."

"The bed was comfortable. Despite the rundown-ness of the bathroom, the shower worked really well. What we had a har time with was the amount of bugs in the room. No bed bugs or cockroaches, but just way too many insects."

Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. "The Hotel Staff was nice and the beds were very comfortable, however the top portion of the freezer was frost bitten and wouldn't close. My sister is diabetic and needed to freeze her medicine. We called the front desk, but nothing happened until she spoke to the manager. Maintenance did come right away. However, because the refrigerator door didn't close the night before, all of the ice melted before hand. Management was willing to switch out the refrigerator. "
