"Charming cottage with updated decor. The host was very comucative during a power outage due to storms. The kitchen was nicly stocked with snacks and drinks. The pool was nice, but the backyard was not very usable due to some leftovers from repair work taking up the grassy area."

"If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place."

"The space was clean, inviting, and easy to find. We stayed on a particularly hot weekend and were pleased with the level of cooling we got from the AC! The outdoor shower and hose were great for rinsing off with cool water after visiting the river. The beach is just a couple minutes' walk away and was quiet and pleasant. A lovely stay, would definitely stay again!"

"Perfect place. Just what i was looking. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the MIR track for any event"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The view is beautiful and the house is beautifully decorated and kid friendly. Just a really charming place to stay for a family vacation."

"Property is exactly as described. We had a great week fishing and crabbing on the dock and even on the 2 days it rained, the house was so comfortable for chilling and watching movies. This house was well stocked with everything you would need. We forgot our Old Bay for the crabs but there was some already for us! Kelly and Thomas responded quickly to a couple of questions we had and made check in and out simple. My only suggestion would be to put window treatments on the windows in the...

"Fern and Forest is simply wonderful. Very clean and the room smelled amazing. Amy and Josh put a lot of work into this suite. If you forget to bring something, chances are they have it in the room for you to use. To the fresh linens and the robes hanging in the closet, to the clean bathroom and amazing patio area, I have to give this place my highest rating ever. We had such a pleasant experience and we look forward to our next weekend get away here."

"Beautiful home, very clean and comfy "

"This property is absolutely beautiful! The private beach is what sold us. Unfortunately we couldnt swim due to massive amount of jelly fish expecially on our first day. The following day, there wasn't as many but all got stung when we tried to swim. This is not the owners fault, definitely something I wish I knew could happen before booking as this is the main reason we wanted to stay here to swim and use the beach. We made the best of our trip using kayaks and playing games. They have a nice...

"What an adorable country cottage. We came up for just 1 night for a family function and felt right at home. We are a family of four with 2 adult children but you could easily have 2 more children and a baby here. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with cozy nooks and nice front porch. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen including full spice rack. We will definitely be back."

"This is our 4th time to come here and the view still amaze me. Fishing is great in this area. My family and I really had an amazing, fun and relaxing stay as always. See you next time."
