"Very comfortabe, eclectic ambiance and the staff is lovely! I stayed overnight to be close to the airport and it was perfect. Only an 8 minute taxi ride. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious (eggs with spinach, tomatoes & onion) & fresh. Lots of shopping and restaurants choices all in walking distance as well as a beautiful park in the town center a few blocks away. Great place to sit and feed the pigeons! I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again."

"Astounding beauty outside, a stylish, cozy feeling inside. We stayed in a mountain view room on the main building, and really enjoyed our short stay. We'll be back to try to trails on property. The room is spacious (much larger than it looked in the pictures), the view amazing, and the grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic property, and lovely service. Highly recommended. "

"Everything about our stay was great! We felt safe and secure during our entire stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. The front desk lady was accommodating, friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless, smelled clean and the beds were super comfortable/cozy. We loved that we could control the temperature of our room. The only thing I would change, would be the parking situation. They have some tiny, private parking spots hidden behind the secured entrance/gate. We rented a Toyota RAV4 to take on our drive up to La Fortuna, and it was a challenge to park. To those that are planning on renting a compact SUV or larger, please be advised. Other than the parking situation, we had no other concerns at all! "

"I felt so welcome the moment I walked onto the property. It’s a very secure place and I felt very safe, especially as a female, solo traveler. The check in was very easy and the kind security guard helped me to my room. Jennifer (I believe her name is) is extremely sweet and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Everyone was so nice! The restaurant staff is so attentive and very efficient with the food orders. I was so happy to enjoy the free breakfast, the pool, and the wonderful room. Everything was very clean and organized. I wish to return soon! This will be my first choice for hotels in San Jose :) Muchas gracias!!"
