"We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the Poas Volcano and area waterfalls. Our stay here was WONDERFUL! The place is clean, updated and has such a beautiful view. The host had great communication. We booked the place specifically for the hot tub and it did not disappoint, such a relaxing way to end the day after lots of hiking. 10/10 recommend!!"

"This is a lush, green paradise with an abundance of trees, fruits, flowers..it is calm and peaceful. The absolute best part of our stay were the warm, generous and accommodating hosts, Eduardo and Betty. They gave us the most wonderful Pura Vida experience and quickly became friends for life. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the hosts and the manner in which guests are treated. We will definitely return to visit our new friends!"

"The property is incredibly beautiful; full of lush flowers, fruit trees, exotic birds, and a trail that leads to a large, clear, mountain stream. The temperature is cool and mild and theres a great view of the surrounding vegitation from the second story. Eduardo and his wife are beyond hospitable and welcoming, and made every effort to find ways to make our stay memorable and comfortable. I would highly recommend you purchase their delicious, aromatic coffee. Ots grown on the property otself,...

"The staff in particular was great and made the experience all the more memorable!!!! Special thanks to Byron and Brayan, our servers at the restaurants who were not only extremely knowledgeable about everything Costa Rica but also provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate every request. Definitely a 6 out of 5 stars for the property and staff. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Poas Volcano Lodge. We went in the off season and there was only a few other guests on the property so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The trails around the property are expansive and lots of fun to explore for a fun afternoon walk/hike. The food at the restaurant was nice and the service was good. Having a glass of scotch and some Costa Rican dark chocolate with a good book in front of the wood burning stove and listening to the rain patter on the tin roof before dinners was a treat as well. Location was convenient to some great local places to see and visit. Staff was so helpful to help us book our tickets to the Poas Volcano National Park. I'd go back for sure!"
