"We booked this hotel for a short drive from Liberia, on our first day. The road is decent, but not a quick, simple drive. The property is near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, although you must drive a little to get to the park. Hotel staff were knowledgeable about the park’s features and what was open on different days. We loved how remote and peaceful this hotel feels. Definitely use Waze to find your way to, from, and around the park. Sadly, we wasted valuable time getting lost, missing what we wanted to see. "

"If are looking for a true "tico" experience, Eladio, is a master host. He lives life to the fullest; the true essence of PURA VIDA! He will take you to exquisite places and restaurants tourists never go. Eladio is in top condition. It is helpful that you are too. Bring earplugs because truck noise echoes from Hwy 1. We had a massage. Hiked in the jungle, Went to a waterfall, thermal pool, and a Pacific sunset. Eladio just wants you to be happy."

"The property was clean, walking distance to Walmart and other restaurants, atm and airport is less than 25 mins drive . For a night stay the day before flying the place is perfect . Good internet connection, perfectly working air conditioning.."

"The team at the property were ALL excellent - thank you. The property is accessed via an unmade road which was hard work for our small hire car - but because it was a hire car it made it through. The facilities are good. I tried the canopy walk, river slide, zip line and hot springs, all of which were very good. The evening meals we had were of a high standard, especially considering that all the food has to be transported a long way. The breakfast was good ( but didn’t live up to the standard of the evening meals). We were in a hacienda and the walls are very thin. We had a great two days and would highly recommend the facility."
