Cinnamon Grand Colombo

"The staff here really goes the extra mile. I had a package the week before I arrived and they had it on hand still for me. My room had a slight musty smell but I think that's common in extremely humid places. The AC worked well, good water pressure and shower. The bed was big and clean. I loved the Nescafé packets and creamer in the rooms. The coolest thing was this water dispenser in the room-- you could get hot or cold water right from it. They also were very generous with the bottles of water-- I had five in my room. There is security when you come into the complex. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to an oceanfront park and shopping mall. There is a spa and gym next door with modern facilities which I used. It seems ideal for families given the two pools and the large number of dining facilities on site. Breakfast was extra lavish-- there was everything!! A good range of start times too from 630-1030. The hotel is not on the beach. It seemed close to a lot of attractions and I was safe walking in neighborhood at night. There is a small shopping center with coffee shop and nail place next door. Quiet."

"Dear ITC Management and Team, my stay at ITC Colombo was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, Devmi made check-in smooth and welcoming, and Pradeep handled my luggage efficiently and with great care. Devmi also walked me through the in-room iPad, which made things like lighting wonderfully simple. At checkout, Sheena was exceptional, warm and professional, and Devmi checked in about my plans, which I really appreciated. Having stayed at other five-star properties in Colombo, this experience stood out. For me, ITC is the clear choice in the city. Sincerely, Timothy Scott Little"

"The worst front of house experience I had during my entire trip from staff member Zaid. No smile, no hello, not a single word uttered, just a blank stare until we mentioned we were there to check in, which was then followed by the word 'passports'. This man should be working with machines, not people. The 'gym' is a tiny room squeezed to the brim with odd bits of equipment, pretty dated and unusable. The rooftop dining area is also very dated and not a resemblance of the photos. Other than the poor start to our stay here, the rooms were generally clean and comfortable. The property is located well on Galle Road,"

"A great hotel with great facilities. The change rooms / amenities area was fabulous even down to provided blow dryers. Fantastic pool area, very well kept. We had a club room on level 7 with complimentary nibbles, soft drink, tea and coffee throughout the day and evening. The afternoon tea included three choices of hot food , and a variety of sandwiches. Complimentary happy hour also included three choices of hot food and assorted finger food. Great services from all staff encountered"

"We checked-in to suite at Cinnamon life City of Dreams for two nights on our vacation. Cleanliness in the suite was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and a very quite atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide spead. The pool was very clean and the pool staff was great. The Butler Service assigned for our suite was excellent too."

"We returned to this hotel because we liked it so much, and again loved the location and surroundings of it. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Due to the public holidays, it was very busy this time and the breakfast room seemed a bit overwhelmed, plus it was difficult to get a towel"
