The name, ‘Ishq’ stems from the Arabic word for love and passion. Designed by Channa Daswatta, a protégé of the late architect Geoffrey Bawa, this exclusive-use four-suite luxury villa sleeps up to 10 guests and was born out of a passion to share the epitome of luxury and the warmth of a family home. Inspiration is everywhere – interior areas are adorned with Moroccan artwork and carpets, rare collectibles and Sri Lankan pettagamas whilst outdoor areas are an exotic vision of mature gardens, terraces and tumbling vines.
