"We had 16 family members staying at the house and swimming in the pool with daily trips to Pisa, Lucca, cinque terra and more local attractions. We cooked dinner almost every night and eat outside under the stars. The house was wonderful. The only thing that you should be aware of, is that the house is at the end of an unpaved road with switch backs so be prepared."

"After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

"We stayed here for a week at the end of May, two adults and four children (two older teenagers). The property is large with some nice touches and extras, in a very secluded and relaxed mountain village, where the locals are simply lovely and welcoming. Samantha, the owner, made us feel very welcome and was so helpful throughout our stay. The beaches at ViaReggio are only just over an hours drive away, with plenty of restaurants and private beaches (with bars, small pools etc), and the nearest...

"Lesley's attention to detail is everywhere. In the comfort bedding, the soft fabrics, the beautiful tile and clever workmanship in the room, the soft scent of clean in there. The gardens and blooms are well tended also in this wonderful location. The fresh farm house breakfast overlooking the pool & mountains was joyful. I liked the company of Mickey and Nutella, two well behaved pooches who lay by my feet & smiled. ( I swear they did). And what's not to smile about here where the veggies grow...

"Beautiful rustic Tuscan retreat in the mountains with breathtaking views. We enjoyed barbecues and breakfasts on the terrace and relaxing by the pool. The road up was quite an experience but we got used to it and visited Lucca, Barga and the local villages, plus a fabulous Sunday lunch at Sandra’s. Michael was very accommodating and helpful. The peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and space made for a very relaxing holiday."
