I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...

Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel in good location. And wonderful to have access to coffee and juice and fruit and cookies at all hours and enjoy on the small balcony.

We had a family double room for 3 adult and it’s roomy and comfortable. Right on Gran Via so it’s so easy for shopping and dining. The hotel has a roof top bar which has a beautiful view of Madrid. It’s an excellent place to spend the evening with friends/family. The breakfast is GREAT with very nice setting and excellent varieties. Very happy with our stay.

Incredible views and a beautiful place to stay

We had a short stay here, however it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby was lovely and the staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. I stayed at this hotel several times. This time with my dog. It was a very pleasant stay. Thé hôtel staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished. Hôtel is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, parks. Overall a very great stay in Madrid.

Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.

Great place to stay! Staff were great and room was large with beautiful bathroom, walk in shower. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Would strongly recommend staying at the Hotel Regina!

This hotel was fantastic. It would be fabulous if it were located in a better location, closer to old Madrid. We stayed there as we were attending a Real Madrid game. It was close to the metro, and the amenities and staff were great. It is located in a quite, residential neighborhood with no nightlife and few restaurant choices.

Great stay! Close to decent restaurants, museums, and important destinations. We arrived early before official check-in time and they promptly gave us a room…a huge relief for weary travelers. Service was top-notch.

Loved the hotel and great service

From entering the door the staff was excellent. They made us feel welcome . Our luggage did not arrive the first day but they notified us as soon as it arrived the next day.They were great with information on the different forms of public transportation. We will be back next year and I will most definitely stay there. I hope the staff dosen't change.

This was a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, keeping the traveler away from the hustle and bustle when comes the time to retreat and energize for the next sight seeing day! Everything a tourist needs to see in this city is within walking distance. I highly recumbent this place.
