Lots of interesting materials used with a bit of a chic-recycle vibe, buffet breakfast was excellent, clean and wide range of choice. As is often the way now, some of the younger staff are a little bit aloof and shall we say unfocused on your experience, so check in and restaurant service can require your patience, it's generational, so you can't hold it against them. "The building is quite historic and the charm is still intact. Rooms were large, beds comfy. There is no air conditioning, but a rain storm came through and cooled the evening down, otherwise it would have been quite toasty. The bathroom only had a handheld shower connection which isn’t very user friendly, but we made due for one night. "
