"Everything was perfectly clean. Host was very open, communicative, supportive, and ontop of everything. I hosted a bachelor/ bachelorette weekend and cooked slightly more extravagant meals so I needed a few more tools than provided like a juicer and a whisk and a few more measuring cup sizes however there were more than enough plates, bowls, silverware, and pots and pans for everyone in the house (12 people) We did not bring any pets however if we were to bring dogs or cats there is more than enough accommodations for them. Beds were comfy, towels clean, showers clean, beautiful house, well kept grounds. Overall would recommend to anyone considering this house. :)"

"We had a wonderful time at this property! The house is beautifully decorated, remarkably spacious, and filled with every amenity you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.The absolute highlight for us was the back porch—sitting out there in the quiet evenings was pure relaxation, especially since we were treated to visits from deer and turkeys almost every single night! Between those fantastic views and the super reliable, fast internet, it offered the perfect balance of unwinding and staying connected. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making this a top-tier experience. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Overall, this home was what I was looking for to relax at the pool and bbq during the hot days with enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The home is gorgeous and has mostly everything you need. It is so quiet and relaxing- you cannot hear any neighbors or cars.However: The master bedroom has a queen bed but there is a king in the downstairs room which we thought was interesting.The small single sofas that flatten into twin beds are abundant but a few do not stay flat and collapse at the head and feet which makes it difficult to sleep on. We travelled with a few heavily pregnant women and tried to use the pullout couches in the living room and piano room so they did not have to share bunks but both were broken. There were other options (many foam pads) for us to set up some private sleeping arrangements, although lacking in availability of extra linens and pillows. Only one of the rooms has curtains- which makes it very difficult to have an infant in the nursery as it is beautiful but very bright all day long until about 9 PM when the sun goes down. We brought our own pack n play and had the baby sleep in a corner of the master bedroom where we covered the window with pillows. Lastly, the master bathroom shower heads are clogged from mineral deposits so there was very little water pressure and the temperature was boiling despite moving the handle nearly to the off/cold position. The bathtub was out of order so we all had to share the shower downstairs."

"We had a nice, relaxing stay with our dog at Shady Pines. The house is well stocked and dog friendly, and has a wonderful deck surrounded by redwoods, and was so peaceful. We enjoyed our time at Shady Pines."

"This property is beautiful. You get a partial view of the lake with a wonderful view of the mountains from across the lake.There is a path to walk down to the lake to relax, swim or fish. If you want to relax and enjoy water sports on the lake, I highly recommend this rental."
