"Good value for money "

"We were warmly welcomed by staff at the Black Bull and were impressed with the size and comfort of the room (14). The bar was busy with locals and tourists. No food is served on Wednesdays so we ate at The Milan which was excellent. Room was quiet despite the popular open mic night in the bar. Breakfast, served in a bright residents' only room on the first floor, was delicious and great for veggies and non veggies alike. Superb value for money and perfect for our overnight stop on the Sandstone...

"About 14 minutes from Berwick in a quiet spot. Very comfortable room. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, just ask and you get. Highly recommend but only have 2 rooms so be quick. "

"Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again. The best thing about this hotel is the people and the outstanding service they provide-nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Ooh- and good food including a fab breakfast. "
