"Immaculately clean, perfectly equipped, well though-out for a super stay by as many as four. The silence was only interrupted by occasional sounds of cows and sheep in the adjoining fields and the call of the resident pheasant. Diane was welcoming and helpful. Only two suggestions for her: a spot of milk, a bit of sugar and a few tea bags to accompany the very welcoming scones and clotted cream would have been great (and taking a plane to a couple of doors that don't quite open). "A very well equipped lodge everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It was very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was excellent and very private. eleanor was also very welcoming and knowledgeable, thankyou we all had a wonderful time we would not hesitate to return again."

"This townhouse is exactly as described. The location is superb--a very short distance to Quay-side restaurants and shops and also close to food markets, but very quiet! Rooms are comfortable and lots of space. There are 3 floors and stairs, so need to be comfortable with that. All the basic amenities, but no frills. Would be helpful to have more instructions on appliances for those of us from out of country. We would definitely stay here again--excellent place!"

"Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. A bit more garden for our bigger dog would’ve been great,...

"We met the owner upon arrive and where made to feel very welcome. The beautiful grounds, house and location was perfect. The family rooms were huge and perfect for little ones. The hot tub and games room was well equipped along with the kitchen. We bumped into the owners family down by the river and were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Thank you"

"Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games."

Although it is a little off the beaten track it is ideal for exploring the area so close to all the busy commute roads, It is so quiet in the countryside you can really chill.
