Had a pleasant stay for three nights with parents. Great hospitality by all the staff members. Amazing new year party at the banquet hall, kudos to the organizers. Good options for breakfast buffet and also ordered a delicious chocolate cake for the new year. Good food, good spa service, good swimming pool and beautiful ambience. Definitely choosing this place by default when in Coimbatore.

This is a staff save, i highly appreciate the whole team who is saving this property. Apart from this the property is in very bad shape due to poor maintenance. Rooms are spacious but not cleaned well, you get bad smell in all bathrooms, no exhaust fans, mattresses are not very comfortable, breakfast buffet is good but the smell travels all the way to all rooms in the hotel. If they prioritize all these, this could be a great place in coimbatore for radisson.

Toilet and bathroom could have been cleaner. They had run out of a few essential items for buffet breakfast. It would have been convenient if the coffee machine was available for self service at buffet breakfast. Non-smokers must let them know to provide a non-smoking room. Staff are friendly.

Great hotel with excellent rooms and mediocre food

Husband and wife on a short two personal trip. The reception was exceptionally professional. The room was very clean with a well maintained boothroom and bed. The mattress was too soft for us. Everything worked as advertised. Hot water and rain shower all times of the day. They provide freshly laundered pool towels though the pool is a bit neglected. Need to watch out for birds/ bird poop in the pool. Better to change/ wash up in the room rather than the changing room next to the pool. Good for a visit when only the room is needed. Don't expect too much from the complementary breakfast. Avoid the coffee at all costs :) Preferably avoid the baked goodies which are made with margarine or it's derivates. You good get by with the dosai, omelette and other freshly prepared food.

To start with positives - the restaurant food and service were very good. Outside of that this hotel has little to recommend it. Our stay was awful. Broken fixtures, clogged sinks in the rooms. Housekeeping was very poor with dirt (black grime/slime) in the shower stalls, sink area. This is the first five star hotel that provided only two bath towels per room - no hand towels, washcloths.. The fuse repeatedly blew in one of our rooms and had to be repaired. This went on the first night right up to 1 am!! Two out of three elevators were not functioning due to some sort of leaks from the ceiling(the elevators had towels place all around to mop up the water). The elevators and entire hotel corridor smelled of sewer! Complained repeatedly to front desk and management and received only a very tepid 'sorry'! Would never stay at this hotel again and strongly recommend against staying there.

Very good overall

The staff and service here were unfailingly excellent with everyone being friendly and helpful. I didn’t understand why our luggage was scanned to enter the hotel. I’ve never experienced this before. The lobby is big, nice, well-decorated, and has welcome snacks and drinks as well as newspapers, which I appreciate. The couch and 2 chairs are a beautiful purple, but there is too little seating available. The room is spacious with a desk and chair as well as another chair. The bathroom is big as is the shower, although the shower door does close well and creates a little flooding. The closet architecture is terrible, as it opens on 2 sides, creating a situation where one could be at the closet near the door and be able to see into the bathroom, which is inappropriate. The room and the hallways often seemed stale and I don’t think there is a proper air filtration system in place, which concerns me. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, even better the second morning, and there were ample vegetarian and vegan options, including chefs making dosa, uthapham, parota, and more, almost an overwhelming amount of delicious treats to enjoy. On the 8th/top floor is the pool with lounge chairs and towels. There is also a locker room with showers and the spa area, where I had a very relaxing Ayurvedic oil massage. All in all, a very good experience here, though there is clearly room for improvement in the ways I mentioned and in some other ways too.

I have stayed at the Radisson Blu in Coimbatore on three separate trips. The staff in the most courteous, and I enjoy my stay there each and every time. This is the only place I stay in Coimbatore.
