"I don't think the owners (especially the wife, Clara) realises they are in the hospitality business. - Paid for a sea view and did not receive it. "We weren’t sure where to stay in Sardinia, but we’re so glad we chose Hotel San Teodoro! The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Some of the highlights included an incredible breakfast spread, a stylish onsite bar and restaurant, a beautiful pool area, and convenient shuttle rides to and from town. While the hotel is located about 10 minutes from downtown San Teodoro, the shuttle service (€10 per person, per day) made it easy and hassle-free to get around. Our only real disappointment was the front desk’s recommendation to visit the “hotel’s beach,” which turned out to be extremely crowded—thousands of people packed in—which was a letdown. If you're planning to explore the island, we highly recommend renting a car so you can discover some of the more secluded, less touristy beaches. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return if given the chance! "
