Welcome to Deer Haven Bungalow! This historic cottage has been in the family since it was built in 1895! Lovingly restored in 2017 and styled in a charming western, retro theme. You will be within easy walking distance to the restaurants, shops, live music and attractions of downtown Cody. Feel at home staying at Deer Haven Bungalow!

You will feel like you are taking a step back in time entering the front porch. The cheery, eat in kitchen includes a sunny yellow table and full-size appliances. In the living room you'll find another dining or game table, comfortable sofa, and large television with Roku for streaming. Bedroom 1 is an alcove off the living room and features a queen bed and vintage furnishings. Bedroom 2 has room for the kids, or kids at heart with a twin bunk bed and sofa futon sleeper. The bathroom is accessed through the second bedroom and features a large walk-in tile shower, large vanity and a view into the back yard where you might find deer resting in the shade.

This little gem is located in Cody's downtown district just 2 blocks from the historic Irma hotel. Be sure to wander up there in the evening to enjoy the "shoot out" and live music on the porch and at various venues along main street. You can also catch the trolley tour of Cody or the nightly rodeo bus from the Irma porch.

Fantastic place to stay in Cody!
We had a great time in Cody and the house was perfect! We got to watch deer outside the kitchen window at breakfast (super fun for the kids!), great space in bedrooms, plenty of towels available to use. The front porch is a fantastic place to sit and relax. The owners were extra amazing and dropped off a package we had delivered to the house so we could spend more time in Yellowstone. We definitely recommend this place and will stay again next time we are back in Cody!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The property was exactly as listed, extremely clean, a fully stocked kitchen, upgraded bathroom, and plenty of sleeping area. We saw several deer while staying here, and we were able to walk to a coffee shop every morning! The owner was very responsive, and very friendly! We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Cute and charming home. Our family loves older homes they just give you the sense of grandmas house where you get to go and relax. Property sits in a great location within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping in general. Not to mention the wildlife (deer) you see lounging in the yard and neighborhood.

Nice little house in good location within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Master bed was comfortable and living area nice. Only bathroom was nice but was off the guest bathroom and only had small air conditioner in master. Luckily was not too hot so was ok. Overall good experience

Perfect home
Cody was a halfway point during our road trip. It was such a nice feeling to walk into this home. It was spacious, very clean, and just a few blocks from town. Nice property close to Irma Hotel. Especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Centrally located and many nice little touches like home.. Hot water valve faulty in shower but other than that no issues. Would definitely stay here again. Side note from Trolley Tour. House as well as ones on each side were constructed using Sears catalog $400 kits! Great management veyr responsive.

First time to Cody
We had a wonderful time in Cody. The house is perfectly within walking distance to grab the trolly, go to the Irma, shop and eat. The home was very well decorated and had all the amenities that we needed. The home was great, however a few things were a bummer. The air conditioning is a window air conditioner and isn’t ample enough for the entire house. The backyard is a big space and such a waste that it hasn’t been kept up so vacationers could enjoy it. We’ll definitely be back to Cody and would stay here again as long as the temps are cooler.

The location was excellent. It had everything you could need to cook, entertain yourself and be comfortable. Having to go through a bedroom to use the bathroom was sometimes inconvenient, but definitely not a deal breaker. We would stay there again!
