"Room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The main building was constructed in mid 1500's and is well preserved. We stayed in a more modern wing. All staff are friendly and welcoming, Joanna at reception is an outstanding asset for the hotel. Parking was easy, and internet was good. Breakfast was wonderful with offerings of a cooked as well as continental breakfast. I understand current owners are slowly updating the hotel however it is still well presented and maintained and a charming establishment. We would not hesitate to stay again if the opportunity arises"

However, the stay was quite expensive, which is something to consider. The first two nights were peaceful, and I slept well, but unfortunately, my third night was disrupted by a noisy neighbour, which kept me awake and affected my next day’s work. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, and amenities, but it would be great if management could address noise issues—perhaps by better enforcing quiet hours—to ensure all guests have a restful stay."
