"Chris was a great host , very helpful, and easy to communicate with. The property is across the road from the river which is a beautiful view. House was clean, quaint, and had everything you needed. There's not much in Caratunk but just up the road in Forks are there are a few places. We were in the area bird hunting so our days were spent in the woods. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away."

"The cabin is cozy and well equipped - great wifi and one of the best kitchens/kitchen appliances and equipment in any rental we've booked. Access to the property was easy and the outside views of the river were lovely. The cabin is located within an easy drive to Greenville without having to stay in town, and not far from lots of fishing in the Kennebec outlets (East or West ) into Moosehead Lake. Very convenient. We didn't use the kayaks as it was cold and windy, but there were several available. A comfy place to stay in the Moosehead Lake region."
