"Firstly, the staff are what makes this place shine. Oscar, David and Andy made our stay very enjoyable. They demonstrated excellent service and were accommodating. The food was excellent but the choices were limited and the menu didn’t change during the 8 days we were there. I would have liked to have more options. "Excellent stay. Lodge is a hidden gem at an affordable price for all Euro luxuries. Extremely clean, new bathrooms, Hilton style beds and pillows (Slept like a baby!) Will definitely stay there again. Steps from beach and in town perfect location, with free parking on-site. "

"The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."

"I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. Takes getting used to drive up the crazy hills. Great location and food/restaurants was amazing!!! So fresh and good. "

"Not right on the beach but close. They need additional blinds for sleeping, a bit bright. If you close the bedroom door you will get no ac from the living room where the ac is located. They are very helpful in all your needs!"
