"After driving around both the North & South Islands of NZ for 24 days, our last 2 days were at the Oxford Village Motel. It was so well appointed, so clean, so comfortable, and in such a great location with a variety of food options around and a supermarket across the road, we rated it the best of all the motels we had stayed in. So nice that our wonderful journey ended in the best accommodation of all. We only got to speak with the cleaning staff there, but they were exceptionally wonderful. This place definitely deserves a 10 out of 10."

"The Brown Pub is the ideal location for a cost effective holiday. I've stayed here a number of times and keep coming back. Remember, it's a pub so it goes off like a frog in a sock on Friday and Saturday nights - so either be part of the celebrations or wear ear plugs !! The staff are sensational - going that extra mile even into the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are clean and warm, the kitchen is great, stacks of hot water in the showers... and the WiFi is faster than at home ! Everything you could possibly need for a short stay or a family holiday. I'll be back."
