"The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. "What a fantastic place to stay. I was a little skeptic based on the limited reviews, but I only ended up wishing I’d stayed longer. Everything was awesome from the moment I arrived and was greeted by the staff who are all so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, it’s so gorgeous with amazing views if you love nature. Bed was super comfy. Downsides were that the bed was on a lifted platform that I tripped over and fell when I got up in the middle of the night and could have caused a serious injury and that the bathroom (fully plumbed) was for some reason outside the room on the patio and it was quite hot and sticky. The pool was beyond beautiful and quite large. The food at the restaurant was all amazing with decent options. The only other downside was that it was a bit hard to find, especially if you’re taking a Grab, and the driveway is a little long making it a bit more hidden for the drivers. The views from the entire property were amazing. Loose friendly dogs and geese on the property, so skip this place if you don’t like animals. Otherwise, it’s amazing."

"Great, beautiful boutique store. It’s right in the center of old town Ninh Binh, so it was the perfect location. The staff is nice and welcoming. We had a river view room - gorgeous. Lots of places to eat and really glad that we could just walk around when night time falls since the area becomes alive."

"Our stay at LaLua resort could not have been more perfect.The exceptional staff and a shout out to NGA and Thai who went above & beyond to be helpful.We loved our beautiful spacious room with mountain views with fabulous ensuite facilities,the room was spotless which housekeeping do a fabulous job.The whole resort is just beautiful with superb tropical gardens surrounding a beautiful refreshing pool with plenty of sun lounges & umbrellas for shade. The onsite restaurant was fantastic with plenty of choices for lunch or dinner,the buffet breakfast was fabulous. The resort has plenty of push bikes to take out to explore which we used a couple of times,the resort is in a quiet lane and not a lot in walking distances but we had a driver that the resort organised for us who were very reliable and prompt who took us wherever we needed,,we would not hesitate to recommend this resort & look forward to our next stay."

"Quite a dust in room, especially in bedroom around the tv and tv wooden doors on top not touched for long time and drawers in edges too, not a big thing, staff awesome, the receptionist, other staff with very limited English so then end up at the restaurant while on my way to swimming pool, the breakfast is very lovely concept, set up, almost all food great except the pancakes and very strange ham, not edible for European, the danish pastry and croissants were super buttery though 👍👍but in general very nice property, ah and when you try to call hotel, you are transferred to Spanish customer service with no Vietnamese knowledge, so took phone from my gf and used English instead."

"This is an exceptional hotel in Ninh Binh. Our room was beautiful and the bed so comfortable. The bathroom had a beautiful bath tub and power shower. What makes this hotel is the staff starting with the concierge who organised our trip for us, he is a credit to the hotel who could work in the top hotels in Mayfair, London where I’m from. Our check in and out was seamless and when we left for Hanoi we had an amazing send off by the staff. Thank you so much Legend Hotel, will be back next year for a longer stay. Best wishes to you all. "Overall experience was good, I was staying in the villa next to the pool, the rooms are really good and the room service was fine ...it was kinda hard to go from. The lobby to the villa, better to just walk outside. Breaktast it's nothing special th, nothing really tasty. Only bad things is the pool location, there is always workers or random people walking around the pool so forget about privacy hahah"
