Our host was friendly, helpful, and gracious. He recommended a great local restaurant (with a history going back hundreds of years) and made us a reservation at it. As with any ancient building in France, be ready to carry your luggage up and down some stairs. The property is located a very short walk to a small town which had an excellent farmers market on Saturday and an ancient church which we attended on Sunday."
