"Taneesha gave me a good welcome despite being a first time visitor. Subsequently she explained the stay and food arrangements efficiently and talked me up into breakfast as well as dinner. Good beers, wines and food. Breakfast was pretty good though I missed some “real” coffee as opposed to more sachets of the main brand we all know with a thermos of hot water."

"Friendly staff, good size room, bathroom smaller just a good shower, not bath, but ok and windowsill meant you had room to store toiletries. Room next to road but no noise with double glazing. 3 choices of breakfast depending on how hungry you were. Ideal for Chatsworth, go across the road & you are able to get in the grounds & take a walk across to the house. "

"This is a pub with an incredible range of cask beers (10) mostly from the Lincoln Green Brewery. The 3 I try ed were excellent. The hotel (pub) has a faded grandeur feel and is basic. This suits me down to the ground. They do not do breakfast so we went to Tesco opposite which has a good cafe. The ensuite room was clean and tidy and met our needs well. It is up two flights of stairs though, no lift, and is a rabbit warren. Parking is on street. Overall I liked it but posh it is not."
