"After what we stayed in along the borders of the nearby National Parks this place was great. The property is pretty much brand new and near the airport with a Costco across the street for gas and a Target for all our other needs. "

"Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel and rooms were decently clean and tastefully decorated, you could tell furnishings were recent updates, and rather new hotel. My only complaint were the uncomfortable pillows, which literally fell flat every time. They serve Starbucks coffee but it’s not a full fledged Starbucks menu, although the street has many coffee shops nearby. The bar had great service, drinks were mid. No complimentary breakfast, but there are breakfast items available for purchase at the cafe, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, oatmeal etc. The hotel is located in a really nice part of town and I felt safe at all times in this immediate area of Fresno/Clovis. Super close to the airport. Close to shopping center, 2 min drive to a shopping center with Target, kohls etc also a great restaurant option Colton’s Social House great food and drinks. It’s about 1hr 45 mins from the South entrance of Yosemite. Overall it was a great experience for my travel needs. "

"In Clovis for Track and Field Championships. found this Sonesta ES online. Clean and Quiet area. Feels like summer camp! Breakfast (free!) is better than any I’ve had. I worked out this morning too. Super happy with this hotel, location, cleanliness, front desk associates, condition of room/studio apt. with kitchenette. "

"When I booked, I thought the place looked slightly old and seedy, but it was relatively cheap, convenient, and rated as clean. I was so wrong about the old and seedy bit. This was up there with our most expensive stops this trips in terms of style, room size, and comfort. Add to that the friendliest and most helpful staff we've met so far, a pleasant "campus", and a great breakfast included - not those plastic-wrapped pastries etc., but actual fresh-cooked breakfast buffet. Great value for the money, even if it had cost a third again as much. Special thanks to Felicia at reception who switched us to a downstairs room so we old folks wouldn't have to carry our bags up a flight of stairs. I didn't even request that, just asked if they had a luggage room where we could leave them as we only needed pur smaller bags for the one night, but she proposed a better solution. Also thumbs up for the breakfast staff who were cheerful as well as efficient."
