"There were numerous things that were misleading about this property on booking. The major issue being the 4th double bedroom was downstairs in the garage. Exposed to the cold, far away from others in the house and we were unable to use it as a bedroom which made sleeping arrangements difficult as a party of 8 (2 families). Another inconvenience for our travels was the washing machine was not working. When we called Bachcare they said they knew about this and therefore had not listed a washing...

"Great spot with amazing views. Very handy to airport, supermarket and shops, without all the Queenstown traffic and parking woes. House is very well appointed, warm and stylish with large lounge opening on to deck with lake views. Underflooor heating in bathrooms a plus."

"The view of lake Wakatipu from the property is stunning. There is a long stairs to the property that may not be suitable for the eldery with limited mobility. The spiral stairs to go up to the loft bedroom is very narrow and may be unsafe for small children. The house was hotter than the sauna when we entered. We would have given a 5 stars rating, if the air conditioning was turned on prior to our arrival. "

"The house was freezing when we checked in therefore cold for the rest of the night and stay because of insufficient heating and poor condition of the house. The main bedroom door doesn’t shut therefore you have to push a suitcase against it to stop it from opening The condition of the house is extremely poor. "Perfectly situated, walk across tree lined street to one of the best cafes and brekkie spots or 3 houses away from a cool little farmers shop for provisions. The best restaurants are a short stroll away so no designated driver needed. Super clean, very comfortable beds and bedding. We will definitely be back!"

"Very nice property. Loved the huge lobby with a nice fireplace and plenty of room to hang out. Breakfast was really good, and we appreciated the box lunch ready to go when we had a 5:30 am departure! "
