"We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Rocky Cliff Retreat. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfectly nestled in the beautiful Sierra Mountains. The owner was very approachable and responsive, which made everything smooth from start to finish. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and cozy atmosphere. A few mosquitos here and there, but nothing that took away from a great stay. Highly recommend!"

"The place is a really good property it was nice and clean but unfortunately I have allergies and the cleaner they use left a smell that gave me a slight headache and I was congested and my two partners said they were kind of congested too and they're not major allergy suffers like me so the cleaner maybe a little strong I don't know if that's what it was or not that's just my experience but other than that everything was great clean well maintained good location"

"We loved the place. Two problems: we were not told about the “no shoes indoors” until the night before which was an issue for my mother who wears an ankle brace and has to wear shoes to cover that brace- this was problematic to take shoes off and on and get around without the stability of her shoes. If we had more time we possibly could have made accommodation for her. We also did not get the WiFi code until day two which caused my son to go into massive apoplexy ( ) maybe have that available upon entry as to not ignite tween children and save parents their hearing.. the house was amazing and the club was gorgeous. Will you be putting chairs outside for summer on the deck? It would have been great to have chairs outside to sit on around the spa and deck- I am nit picking- the place it great!!! If this were my house and I wanted to keep it up I would want to know this: the shower curtains in 1st bathroom are too short and the water will run out of basin if person is not careful and cause water damage in the long run. The window in the master bath doesn’t lock and can be used to get in. As guests- we loved the house, as an owner, I would want to know if my house can be damaged. Hope this helps!! "Very clean, plenty of space. We did not venture upstairs so can’t comment on that, but everything was as described. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived, and most of the wood pieces were large, so chopping wood in the dark was not in our plans. Perhaps the cleaner could have turned on the kitchen area heater for a bit before guests arrive. As soon as we unpacked and got a fire going, we sat down to watch the projection tv, and discovered that none of the living room outlets were working. We flipped the breaker and it didn’t fix it, so I sent a quick note to the owner letting her know, but noted that we moved the projector to a plug near the door and it was working, so it was not a big deal. I didn’t love the response:” that’s odd, first I’ve heard of it.Thanks for the heads up!” A simple “I’m so sorry” would have changed my review a bit. But that one thing wasn’t enough to leave a negative review. "
