The room was not very clean. Something was splattered on the toilet room wall, the door was dirty from handprints, and there was some dirt in the corner. This is not a pet-friendly location. Had to sign a doc that said we had no pets. It is located on top of a hill out of sight of the highway with very little visible signage.

The room was clean and appeared recently updated—but around 2am, we discovered bed bugs. Lots of bed bugs crawling about. My husband bagged a few and took them to the front desk. We were moved to another room, but the rest of the night was anything but restful. We spent the next morning sanitizing everything, which is the last thing any stock show family wants to deal with on show day. The front desk staff was friendly, but housekeeping admitted they already knew about the bed bugs. When I asked for a refund, they refused, citing “policy.” Worst of all, I saw the original room being turned over for the next guest. Be warned: the rooms may look okay, but they have bed bugs—and the staff knows it.

Disappointed this time

Have stayed here several times when it was Best Western. Apparently they are switching over to be Quality Inn. So no free breakfast. No ice machine. Had to call to get them to get TV on. Shower turned ice cold soon as I got in! And we seemed to be only guests there! Was disappointed this time. Hoping it gets better as we visit about once a year and not much choice in town.
