"I have stayed at the DoubleTree before and enjoyed it again on this visit. It has a very "solid" feel - everything is well organized, people are friendly, everything works like clockwork. The decor is beautiful in the main areas as well as the rooms. It is very clean and comfy. While we were just traveling through the area and only stayed one night on this visit, I could have enjoyed a lengthy stay here! And then there are the warm DoubleTree cookies on arrival - not sitting out on the counter but handed to you, wrapped, from a warming drawer. Everyone loves DoubleTree cookies! I have found Hilton properties to be top-of-the-line as I travel."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Stoney Creek Hotel. We were in town for a weekend of baseball, and the hotel is less than 15 minutes from the stadium for the Royals. Nice rooms, quiet area, and plenty of close dining options. "

"There was some insulation showing around the AC unit in the room and some of the molding around the floor was pulling away from the wall. Water pressure wasn’t great either but overall the stay was great. I still give it 5 stars and would stay again. Quiet and did not smell like marijuana. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t anything special. Eggs, fried potatoes, corn?, and sausage. Cereal and muffins/bagels. "

"It was comfortable, especially for the price. My one change, and I believe it’s important, is the toilet. You need a 19” high and elongated toilet. Besides that, it was nice. "
