"It's a completely gorgeous spot and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are amazing. As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. "I have rented a different lakehouse every Labor Day weekend for many years and this is one of our faves. The decor will definitely appeal to antique lovers. The large deck is lovely.
