"This motel is about the view. It smells like old motel, and the hot water is sometimes unreliable, but the staff was very nice, and you can't beat that view of the ocean at sunrise and at moonrise. It's a short drive to the more touristy areas of York Beach, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, this place will work fine. You can cross the street for a nice walk along the more rocky areas of the beach."

"I’m giving it a poor review because of the beds and how thin the walls were. We were going to stay for two nights but we left after the first night because the beds were so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on that we couldn’t get comfortable, on top of that we could hear everything our neighbors were doing. We couldn’t take another night off no sleep so we checked out the next morning eating the non refundable night lost."

"Room had 2 queen sized beds. Microwave and Fridge. We went first weekend in October, they just did a ground cleaning in the building, everything was super clean. Friendly check in, fast check out. Across the street from the ocean "

"The home was beautiful and spacious. Everyone fell in love with Maine! The location was wonderful, you could see the ocean from various rooms in the house. The area was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely love to come back with the family!"

"The cottage was spotless — and pleasantly adorned with beach-friendly quotes, sayings and decorations. The coffee was plentiful, the bed was great, the TV had everything. If we’d gone closer to warm weather, we’d have used all the beach gear as well. The small shower wasn’t easy for me to maneuver in — and I’m not that big — but was a little blip in a great weekend getaway. "
