"Everything you need and very convenient for the M5."

"We had a lovely stay at The Feathers. Highlights - well appointed, modern room with comfortable bed; central location; extremely helpful and friendly staff; and very dog friendly. We didn't eat dinner or breakfast there so cannot comment on the food or restaurant service. Room for improvement - the room was a bit warm (even on a chilly June day) but by opening the window, it became too noisy. Not sure how such an old building could handle that - but otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay, would stay again and would recommend to others! "

"Happy with everything, used this as a stopover for a long journey, booked a suit for the night. Spacious rooms, brought my 2 dogs. I would ask for a room away from the fire door when I book again. Room service fast and good quality."

"We loved the hotel it is beautiful. The breakfast was beautiful fresh hot and very tastey. The staff are very nice too friendly and helpful. The hotel was the best we have stayed!!!! It has a beautiful warm homely atmosphere. The room was beautiful it was a great stay. Cant speak highly enough!!!!"

"Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. As a woman who travels alone for work, i feel incredibly safe there with the hotel having cctv in public areas and someone on site all the time. The bar area is very pleasant and welcoming. It will be my go to place, when in in the area, from now on. "
