We walked miles all weekend and enjoyed gorgeous snow. "We stayed for my 50th birthday. It was the beginning of March and weather was decent but this place offered things to do in the cold or warmth. We enjoyed the fire pit outback and used the grill for dinner one night. The creek running behind us had the kids entertained too!"

"River Mountain was truly a special getaway for our family. The hikes we took on the property were very pretty and playing games in the barn was a fun time for all. We enjoyed the happy hour and s'mores by our own fire pit. The cabin itself was very nice and Mike and Montana could not have been more accommodating. It was great to have dining options on site as well as some snacks for sale, too. We highly recommend River Mountain - and look forward to returning!"
