Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. None of the hard metal chairs inside or on porch were comfortable to sit on, and neither was couch for lounging. Bed uncomfortable. AC unit loud, and couldnt open bedroom window. However, even when we booked, the lake would not have been swimmable due to toxic algae blooms.
