"Although we had reserved the room 3 weeks prior to arrival, there were problems getting a room for us. They ended up giving us a larger room than we needed. We had requested a king bed but settled. For 2 queens. Otherwise, the accommodations were fine."

"The clerk that checked me in was extremely friendly and helpful. I struggled with the sensor on the room door lock and she made an extra key and walked down to help me get my door open. And she helped by showing me how to use the key properly. The room was clean and cool when I got inside. And the bed was very comfortable. Will stay again if I get to Carthage again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the family cabin. It’s everything I could have ask for. The property is beautiful and peaceful and plenty of space for a great stay. Very clean and homely. I will definitely be back for another stay. Very close to town. Convenient for those quick trips to store for last minute things and also for fast food or restaurants."

Romantic Secret Cottage near downtown Carthage

"This quiet getaway was exactly what we needed. This little cottage was absolutely amazing and beautiful, clean on the inside and well maintained. My wife loved everything about it not to mention they even decorated for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend to stay in the small town of Carthage and stay at the cottage. It has definitely been put on our list of places to revisit! "
