About this property

Cozy 1-Bedroom Yurt With Indoor Wood Stove

Campsite C2:

Welcome to The Glamping Place: A luxurious, off-grid stay unlike anything you've ever experienced! As you step into this Pinterest-worthy yurt, we dare you not to dive into immediate relaxation! While this is a home-away-from-home, it's also a perfectly juxtaposed camping experience. Comfort meets wilderness; this invigorating experience is exactly what you've been longing for.

Our plush, dreamy yurt features an incredible array of modern amenities, and upgraded camping classics.

For the best sleep you've ever had in a tent, enjoy the two queen-sized memory foam beds. There is also a sofa that converts into a cozy futon bed.

Please note:
If more sleeping space is needed, additional single cots with mattresses are available ($10/night), as is a full-sized, memory foam mattress ($20/night).

We have a brand new, clean & private Porta-Potty for each campsite. There is a hot shower, sink, and hot water at each site. And the best part of all? It's all solar-powered! These campsites are completely eco-friendly and refreshingly GREEN! For your convenience, there is also a solar-powered generator (featuring USB ports & outlets) ready to go in your room, as well as a mini fridge & Keurig coffee maker!

As for nourishing yourselves, you'll love eating like a true camper. That means, cooking in cast iron over an open flame, or atop the wood stove!

Speaking of the wood stove, it truly warms your entire indoor space - even in the coldest months! But remember, you'll want to be intentional & consistent about keeping said-stove well-stocked with wood to keep your yurt toasty through the night!

AWESOME EXTRAS:

- We offer a 20 ft. inflatable movie screen and projector that syncs up to your phone! Stream your own movies & entertain your family under the stars. ($30/night)

- Want to get out on the water? Rent the pontoon boat! $150/4-hours, or $350/day. All you need to do is replenish the fuel. Bonus: we offer launch and recovery service for an additional $20 (as needed).

- And coming soon: Horseback trail rides! More info to come...

Honeymoon Disaster
Was asked to cancel booking and rebook outside of VRBO. The lighter for the fireplace (the only source of heat) did not work, and there was no Kinlin for the fire to get light. The path to the yurt was confusing and not clear. I had to book a hotel room at 11:00 at night after arriving from my wedding. One of the worst experiences of my life. I will be conactacting VRBO when I get back from my honeymoon.
