"When arriving I like to be greeted by the valet. This time, the valet was full at 3pm, as that is check in time and the only apparent working valet present was only able to tell me "you cant park there". Not "may I take your car and bags and help your wife." I ordered a "romance package" while my wife was out. I was told it would be between 20 and 25 minutes. After 35 minutes and my wife arriving I just had to cancel the order. Whatever your opinions on tipping are, the fact is that there is a note in your room to tip your housekeeping staff over QR code. When leaving, the exit gate wasn't taking my key so I couldn't leave. I called the front desk told them my key wasn't working and I just checked out. They had me verify my room number, after a pause they had me also verify my last name. I get it. You don't want people stealing parking. But being locked in and not trusted me when I was just a guest adds to the horrible taste already in my mouth. Having been to Little and Grand America hotel about a 10 or 12 times total, this will be the last. The hotel has changed, or just didn't seem to care like it had in the past. And my old fond memories of Little America and Grand America have been jaded by my experience this time around."

"This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and nice. However they do need some updating. I believe they are remodeling rooms at this time. The beds are super comfy and the bedding is top notch. Important when staying away from home and trying to get a good nights rest."

"Super clean, staff was very friendly! I enjoyed the full sized shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Worth the price for the location alone—right across Salt Palace Convention Center and next to the City Creek mall. I was able to walk to a lot of places downtown rather than take an Uber. Beds were also very comfortable and even though I had a city view room, I could still see the beautiful mountains."

"We enjoyed our stay the only issue was the blinds did not work. We were on the 5th floor so not overly concerned about it. When we checked out we mentioned this and they said some rooms the blinds are raised and lowered with remotes. We did not see a remote or know this, so if you cannot raise and lower your blinds, call the front desk "

"Most of the staff was excellent. Had an issue with the air-conditioning not working and wasted several hours and a very bad night. Sleep in a very hot room with a frustrating communication loop."
