"The room had a four poster bed and we had amazing views of the hills. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We decided to have our evening meal in the hotel. We had the garlic and chicken schnitzel with gnocchi, and the steak and venison pie. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and we recommend them. Portion sizes were just right for us. We shared the cheese board for two which was very good too. Breakfast was to order and we both had the full English. There was a lot of other choices too, eggs Benedict; smoked salmon and scrambled egg etc. The only disappointment was that there was not a good selection of breakfast fruits on offer. I like grapefruit or prunes which were not available. "

"Lovely clean cottage, if you are over 6’ tall you might struggle as the space around the toilet in the wet room is very limited. Otherwise a great little place for a couple of days. 2 lots of garden furniture and a log burner in the living room area were a bonus and the small but well equipped kitchen came in handy for preparing a curry!"
