"It was perfectly fine for a night before our flight. Clean comfortable and within walking distance. Food at the restaurant was good. Left before breakfast as we had an early flight. Only thing that I wasn’t that keen on was the windows in the rooms, or at least our room doesn’t open to let in fresh air"

"The bed was brilliant,very comfortable and relaxing after my wife and myself finished trawling round edinburgh. The staff were all very polite and efficient with their work, either directing us to where we needed to be or the speed of service at breakfast. The decor of the hotel was great as well, gave a real rustic cosy feel to our stay, exactly the sort of hotel my wife and myself tend to go for, especially liked the his and hers chairs in our room with the table in the center, gave us a relaxing place to sit, have a few drinks and cake before bed while watching some re runs of top of the pops on the TV in the room. The shower and bathroom was very nice as well, fairly powerful shower and a good sized mirror for my wife to get ready in before we headed out for our dinner. Will definitely be wanting to book here again next time we head over to edinburgh."

"The staff were friendly and mostly helpful. However, I had told them i was unable to walk far and unable to climb stairs. Whilst there were no stairs, we were on the top floor and as far away from the restaurant and reception as possible. They couldn't get a different room."
