"It is a national sports training center. It is surrounded by immaculate soccer and tennis fields. The rooms are functional, but very comfortable and spotless. The restaurant is superb. We lucked out and landed there on a weekend where the place was - literally - empty. We had the whole place to ourselves. The pool is beautiful, although the slides are not really functional - the last bit is so flat the kids would stop sliding before the water. The staff were incredibly attentive, particularly...

"It would have been nicer of them to keep the pools a little bit cleaner of the debris from the plants. The pools constantly had a lot of debris, which are really not a harmful thing, but just makes the pool look bad. In the spa, there should be a way to lower the air conditioning because otherwise after getting out of the warm pool or the sauna or steam room it feels very, very cold. "

"Great location. Less than a mile from the Brazilian border and a pretty nice Mall. 15ish minutes from the bus terminal. Breakfast was adequate but not the best. Fruit and postres were excelente but the eggs were juicy, yes juicy and the bacon was swimming in grease. If I went back to Ciudad del Este I would probably stay there again because of the location. "

"Nós sempre ficamos no Asuncion Gran Hotel. O Staff é muito cordial, mas infelizmente, devido à taxa de câmbio desfavorável, tudo ficou muito caro. Além disso, tivemos um mal-entendido no check-out a acabamos saindo sem tormarmos nosso café da manhã, devido ao atraso na sua preparação. Apesar disso, recomendo o hotel, apenas se tiver um veículo disponível ,pois fica longe do centro de compras."
