"I felt very lucky to find this affordable room for my work/play trip to NYC. It is located super conveniently to three different train lines and a whole host of bars, bodegas, and restaurants which for a 9-day stay, was a great perk. I also appreciated having access to a full kitchen with supplies to save a little from eating out constantly. "This is a great place in a great neighborhood! We booked this for a week long trip of sightseeing in New York for 2 couples and our youngest son. It was easy getting on and off the island by bus and we figured out the subway system pretty easy. The place is beautiful and served us well for everything we needed. We did debate on renting a car but for going to New York City it seemed like more of a liability than an asset. The bus is 2 blocks away and it takes you straight to Times Square/port...

"This property has a spacious and well maintained backyard. The firepit was surrounded by comfortable patio couches. The interior was spacious for the 6 of us staying here. It was clean and had everything we could possibly need to cook/clean. Location is super close to Manhattan and it was quiet surrounding the house. There were several ant traps on the counters but they were pretty ineffective Otherwise, the house was great."

The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. We had chairs lined up facing the water for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The whole downstairs layout was just wonderful with indoor and outdoor areas for people to gather, sharing memories and grief.
