"Fantastic hotel and restaurant in Albenga. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the owner by my name and he leaped me to carry my luggage upstairs. My room was very pleasant and very clean, with upscale bed linens and towels, it had a balcony overlooking a nice quiet street. The bathroom was large and well equipped. "The hotel was central & everywhere was easily accessible. It was clean, staff were friendly & the room was kept topped up with snacks. However, I was surprised to be contacted the day before to be told I had to pay in cash even though room was secured on credit card!! I then had to make appointment to check-in as there isn’t a receptionist there all the time.
