The area felt safe, particularly as there were parts of the city that didn’t feel very safe. Restaurants close by and walking distance of the main attractions."

"I like everything about this hotel. Location is just perfect. You can easily go to station. You can easily visit the center, shopping areas. Close to tourist attractions. Breakfast is sufficient and view is nice. And the staff is so helpful. Definitely recommended. And most importantly room is clean. Thank you for everything."

"The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach."
