"This home was the perfect stay in Montrose. It is short drive to everything in town and to the South Rim of Black Canyon, but far enough that the neighborhood was perfectly calm and quiet at all hours. The home was spotless and the owners were easy to communicate with and were even proactive about asking if I needed anything to make my stay more comfortable. I definitely recommend this property for your Montrose area adventures!"

"lovely little place for a home away from home ! and loved that our little dog was welcome also. honestly fell in love with the charm of this old home with the rock foundation. know there is a lot of history coming from those walls. even tho I didn't give 5 stars across the board, I absolutely have no complaints about this rental. I just feel there is always room for improvement ... thanks for a wonderful stay !"

"This place was exactly as advertised, and was in a perfect location. The hot springs, park & playground, and Uncompahgre River are literally right out the front door. The base of the perimeter trail is directly across the street. The walk into downtown is less than five minutes. Depending on your plans you can just park your car in front of the garage and never drive again the rest of your trip because everything you need is a short walk away. This place made a lot more sense for a family stay...

"Owners super responsive and helpful-even went out of their way to notify my brother in law that the deer were "up on the hill"-made his stay to go and watch them for an hour! There is major road construction happening in the area that requires a bit of dodging at the moment-but worked in our favor-lot less traffic! ;) You have to be able to negotiate stairs (not a problem for us). The deck is a lovely place to have a view and it was a welcoming place for our very seasoned traveling dog. Great...

"This was a trip to bring my Dad to see his brother. Probably for the last time. My Dad, sister and I stayed in the home. It was a perfect home for us. The two bedrooms downstairs handled my Dad and sister. I stayed in the Master upstairs. It was perfect. Very clean, plenty of cups, plates and utensils. Nice washer and dryer. Would certainly stay here again!"

"My girlfriend and I stayed for a night, and we wished we could stay forever. Truly a magical place. We rented a snowmobile from the property manager and took the trails to the cabin.
