Mark and Sai take excellent care of this property and there have been several new additions since our last visit. "Wonderful place, away from it all, but with quick wifi to stay in touch with the world. Prairie dogs, bunnies, hummingbirds and more to help you appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna of Colorado. Easy access to all the activities we planned. Plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries and even a couple bottles of wine to help us feel at home. Wonderful fire pit, clean BBQ and horseshoes for outdoor entertainment. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Would definitely rent again!"

"I can't say anything bad about this place. The directions to get to the cabin was spot on. The cabin was clean and well stocked (even provided a crackpot). You can't beat the location! It was an easy jot to the main strip in Lake City (could drive our SxS in town) yet peaceful by San Lake Cristobal. Our main reason for staying at this location was to do the Alpine Loop. "My girlfriend and I stayed for a night, and we wished we could stay forever. Truly a magical place. We rented a snowmobile from the property manager and took the trails to the cabin. "All of the employees at MTN Lodge were just so kind. My friend and I had an experience where some people were worried about our safety, the employees casually pulled me aside just to make sure my friend and I were safe and comfortable. If we were not they made it apparent that they would do whatever they needed to make sure we were safe! I have never had an experience like this. They truly care about everyone and look out for others in an unbelievable way! Thank you so much to the staff at MTN Lodge Ridgway, you guys are the best!!"
