"Large spacious room and friendly staff with excellent English. Hotel was a short walk into the historic district and we appreciated the large car park on site (decent sized spaces for those with larger cars). "

"The shared spaces are lovely. They really make an effort to make this place feel comfortable, clean and welcoming. The actual room though are not great. Just bunk beds with curtains. I guess it is nice to have the toilet, sink and shower in the room, but when you are sharing a room, I would have preferred having a more private space for showering etc. the street behind the room I stayed was incredibly noisy. I was able to tune it out but if you need quiet to sleep make sure your room is not facing the street. "

"Not really 4atar -evening staff v helpful but the morning reception chap wasn’t very pleasant I had to leave pre breakfast and was told there would be food/drinks available in the foyer . When I got down there was nothing -asked at reception and he just rolled his eyes and begrudgingly got a coffee machine out and then went for some some very lukewarm milk tutting so I could basically make an almost cold coffee No food so paid for a breakfast I couldn’t have Corridors were very enjoy and noisy but bed v comfortable and food generally good No extractor fans in bathroom it wasn’t working if was present and bath handrail rusty and hanging off the wall"
