"I was booked on AL staff are exceptional from the receptionist, porters to waiters. They ensured that our stay was comfortable. They are very friendly, ever smiling and ready to assist when called upon. There was variety of food and entertainment, Zanzibari night was my best. I will come back again and again."

"Gorgeous quiet resort owned by Italian couple that has provided a retreat on the Zanzibar coast. Delicious food and great service. I was here with a friend after a business conference in Dar es Salaam and very happy I chose this place of quiet and refreshment. "

"This a great hotel, suitable for those on a budget. It is really laidback and peaceful and great for anyone looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life. This is the second time my husband and I have used this hotel and since our last visit there is a welcoming new reception area. The rooms are clean and spacious. Would recommend this hotel to others. "Great hotel at the beach. Nice staff and great facilities. Breakfast and diner were very good. We had a great time relaxing and lying on the beach. There is not much to do in Uroa, but the hotel offers a lot of great excursions to explore Zanzibar (though they are a bit pricy)."

"This was an exceptional stay. The accomodations at The Level were beautiful and clean and beyond what I expected. Every detail was considered e.g. The toiletries were top notch and the room had everything you could need including beach blankets beach bags, umbrellas, steamer for your clothes.The list is endless. The pool areas ( there where several) were comfortable relaxing and clean and there were several activities, games and excursons. The Spa is amazing and the gym had everything one needs. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable from reception, restuarant service, housekeeping and the guys driving the shuttles within the resort. The grounds were beautiful and quiet with accress to a large expanse of the coastline. The only thing that needs improving is the food. For the cost and the level of excellence in other aspects of the resort, the food offerings need to be improved in terms of range of options and flavour. I also koted that there were some kids in the adults only section. They were well behaved and did not bother me but others may not appreciate it. Neither of these, would stop me from going back in a heartbeat. one of my best vacations ever. "

"Awesome location and view of the Indian Ocean. From our balcony we had direct view of the beach and the ocean. The room was spacious, with nice and comfortable furniture, and bedding. Very nicely decorated. Very clean and one of the best stays that we had. Staff were super nice and accommodating. We loved having drinks and appetizers outside on the deck. Live music added to the very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again. "
