"I made the booking via Hotel.com and 5 hours after I paid I had an email that I had to pay a £50 mandatory fee for facilities passes at the park. I questioned this as nothing was stated via booking and the price stated was the final price I paid. I had emails from a 3rd party called travelnest and also getting emails from someone asking for £50. The whole booking was a mess. Eventually I spoke to the host and he kept saying its written in the description of this extra charge when I never saw it,...

"Vickery Cottage was a perfect location for us to visit family in Exmouth. Easy access to fabulous walks along the East Devon coast. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was excellent communication before our arrival too."

"Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed."

"The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that."

"A beautiful home in a lovely countryside area, a bit remote for some people but we loved it. The home was very clean and had all the equipment anyone could need. We were so lucky to have had super weather. There are many places to visit within a short drive, e.g. Dartmouth and its river boats, steam train, Dartmoor, Salcombe, Totnes to name a few."
