I found this place towards the end of my last semester at Virginia Tech. It's a smaller preserve but there's still some #hiking trails worth exploring. The waterfalls are very fun to splash in.

"We love staying here. The cabin is exceptionally clean which is very important to us. The location is excellent with easy access to Roanoke, Bedford, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is well stocked, so that when guests arrive they are free with much of what they need for their stay."
