"This is a wonderful hotel. New (built 2018) and well appointed. Hot spring bath (onsen) in the room. There are great views of the sea, as the hotel is right at the water's edge. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is excellent."

"Directly infront of this waterfront hotel with rooms with the view of the lighted up car bridge and pedestrian bridge, is a ferry that people can take to go to the fish market full of sushi selection a la carte. Quality at fish market is average since there is a restaurant with very high quality sushi around the corner from this hotel. Great tax free shopping for tourists near the hotel too. "

"I stayed 3 nights for a conference in Shimonoseki. The hotel is clean, has all the amenities I need, and the onsen was a plus. Hotel provides pyjamas and all sorts of skin care products at no additional charge. The open bar in the evenings was also a nice touch. There are good restaurants within walking distance."

"Clean fairly large room, that is maybe due for an upgrade. Still a great place, fabulous central location. Great breakfast buffet and literally hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. Kokura is a great place to visit and there is plenty to do and see. We will definitely be back."
