"I loved the rustic setting of the lodge and the staff was super nice and caring. I only had one issue with housekeeping cleaning out my entire room and they did not check who was staying for more than one night. This is a great option if you are road tripping."

"Everything about this place is perfect. The location, nestled off a dirt road, in the woods, with a river running through it made for the most incredible experience. We were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable host, James. He kindly showed us to our room and gave us an overall picture of his place. The cabin exceeded our expectations and the breakfast in the morning in the cook house was the final touch of a remarkable getaway. We will definitely be going back, and we will stay much longer. This lodge made our time in Alaska even more unforgettable!"

"The Hotel was located in the center of town. Easy to just walk across the street to dine. Very friendly staff. Would be nice to have battery operated clock. Other than that it was a great experience."

"Although there is no indoor bathroom, the outhouse was more than adequate for folks who camp. The bed was comfortable, the host had the cabin warmed up and greeted us in a friendly manner and was happy to show us around their Alaska homestead. I would definitely recommend this spot as long as you don't mind some road noise"
